Deepika is a contracts and commercial advisory specialist with over a decade of experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements. Her practice focuses on structuring contracts that are commercially sound, risk-aware, and aligned with clients’ long-term business objectives.

She has previously led the contracts vertical at a boutique legal consultancy and has served as Contracts Manager at a reputed pharmaceutical company, bringing both advisory and in-house perspectives to her work. This dual exposure enables her to balance legal precision with practical business considerations.

Deepika advises clients across sectors including manufacturing, media, technology, and start-ups, supporting them on a wide range of commercial and transactional documentation. Her work includes structuring and negotiating shareholders’ agreements, joint venture arrangements (including cross-border JVs), and other key commercial contracts.

She also continues to manage the contracts function for a manufacturing company with a significant international customer base, providing ongoing strategic input on contract structuring, risk allocation, and negotiation.

Deepika holds a Bachelor of Laws from ILS Law College, Pune, and an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
